Porcelain
Veneers : are custom made porcelain facings that are
bonded to the front of the natural teeth. They are used to
make major and dramatic changes to the entire smile. While
this is considered a conservative technique compared to
crowns, it does require the removal of at least one half
millimeter of the front of the natural tooth. This
technique takes two visits and on occasion requires local
anesthesia. These veneers are stronger and more resistant
to staining and wearing than their plastic counterparts
and can be expected to last seven to ten years.
